All furniture should be removed from rooms prior to installation. Larger pieces of furniture, such as sofas, dressers and tables, can be removed as a courtesy. If a piece of furniture, such as a bed frame, needs to be disassembled, then additional costs will be charged.
This space is required so that the flooring can expand and contract in response to variations in humidity and temperature without buckling or warping. Without an expansion gap, the surrounding walls would restrict the flooring, potentially causing it to buckle and even harm the subfloor.
We carry a full £1,000,000 public liability insurance which can be requested to be seen at any time.
